Use the App with Desktop

The App is a companion to Desktop, not a smaller copy of it and not a separate cloud-chat product.

Sign in to the same account

Desktop and App appear as account devices through presence. Choose an online Desktop as the target for remote work.

Continue work

The work screen shows current progress and recent work. You can steer an existing item, start a new one, or stop it. The target Desktop must be online for these real-time actions.

Handle pending decisions

When Desktop is waiting for a human-in-the-loop response, the App shows the same pending decision. The first response submitted from either device takes effect.

See and connect devices

The devices screen shows which Desktop, App, and Node instances are online. The relay scanner can claim a waiting Node, carry a Desktop join code, resolve a device code, or optically relay a data-key transfer code.

Know the boundary

The App does not keep or decrypt the Desktop data key. It can temporarily relay a transfer QR, but key import, decryption, resource management, and rotation remain Desktop operations.
